Google Penguin 4.0 is officially part of  Google’s Core Algorithm, according to an official statement given by Google on September 23, 2016.

“Penguin is currently real time. Historically, the rundown of websites influenced by Penguin was occasionally refreshed in real time. With this change, Penguin’s information is refreshed continuously, so changes will be noticeable much speedier, regularly producing results soon after a page is re-crawled and re-indexed. It additionally means there wont be any remarks on future refreshes.”

The “real time feature” suggests that the impact of the Penguin algorithmic channel, i.e. demotions and advancements of natural rankings for a site because of spam (unnatural links), happen quicker than before. Previously, every Google Penguin overhaul brought radical changes.

Penguin 4.0 is the last Penguin redesign ever. There will be no more redesigns.
